Patients with Obstructive Sleep Apnea (OSA) have complained for a long time against the design and set up of their medical device usage at home and how to carry them around outdoor during Sleep Lab appointments or travelling.

Medical Device manufacturers often provide a carrying case to the patients which resembles a LUNCH BOX. The patient has to pack into the bag the device and all the accessories such as the hose, mask, etc. every time after usage and unpack the device and the accessories every time before usage. Many times the patient has to force the items into the LUNCH BOX since they get tired of these repeatative tasks on a daily basis causing problems such as cracks in the hoses, forgetting to insert all items into the LUNCH BOX, etc. Some patients would stop packing and unpacking any longer and would leave the device and the accessories on the bed, next to the bed on a stand, or on the bedroom floor. This is not sanitary at all. There are not only pollution and microgerms in the air, but also bugs and other larger animals such as pets make it very unsanitary when the items that the patients use for breathing are exposed and unattended.

Unzipping front and side panels allows the machine with its accessories, to remain stationary while in use or during travelling. Opening of the panels allows the machine to cool while in operation.
